Investor Charter in respect of Research Analyst (RA) as per SEBI Circular number SEBI/HO/IMD/IMD-IICIS/P/CIR/2021/0685 dated 13 December 2021

Details of business transacted by the Research Analyst with respect to the investors:

  1. To publish research report based on the research activities of the RA.
  2. To provide an independent unbiased view on securities.
  3. To offer unbiased recommendation, disclosing the financial interests in recommended securities.
  4. To provide research recommendation, based on analysis of publicly available information and known observations.
  5. To conduct audit annually.

Details of services provided to investors (No Indicative Timelines).

Scope of services:

To provide stock research studies and reports for clients, by deeply analysing listed businesses, macro and microeconomic trends, and geopolitical factors to identify promising investment opportunities.

The focus will be on building a curated universe of 25-50 well-researched, investable companies, tailored to prevailing market conditions. These studies will encompass insights into future growth potential, investment rationale, associated risks, and expected rewards. The research will centre around identifying fundamentally strong companies, with a key emphasis on the Growth at a Reasonable Price (GARP) principle.

The equity research reports, market updates, and investment theses will be drafted on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis. A subscription-based model will be offered, allowing clients to access stock research reports across these intervals.

To assess client risk profiles, a proprietary OVAM tool will be developed, factoring in demographics, risk appetite, asset allocation, financial goals, liquidity needs, and other relevant parameters. Client future income, future needs, liabilities and risk to their market investment arising out of capital market volatility will be well documented via thorough stress assessment profile. All client information will remain strictly confidential to protect their personal data and investments.

Clients will be educated on the risks and opportunities of financial markets through engaging and informative videos and articles. A detailed research paper will be provided to clients, outlining potential risks and rewards before making any investment decisions. Additionally, periodic assessments of the researched investment opportunities will be published and shared with clients to ensure informed decision-making.

Our main activities are as follows:

  3. To distribute research reports and recommendations to the clients without discrimination.
  4. To maintain confidentiality w.r.t publication of the research report until made available in the public domain.

Details of grievance redressal mechanism and how to access it

  1. In case of any grievance / complaint, an investor should approach the concerned research analyst and shall ensure that the grievance is resolved within 30 days. If the investor’s complaint is not redressed satisfactorily, one may lodge a complaint with SEBI on SEBI’s SCORES portal which is a centralized web based complaints redressal system. SEBI takes up the complaints registered via SCORES with the concerned intermediary for timely redressal. SCORES facilitates tracking the status of the complaint.

Expectations from the investors (Responsibilities of investors):

Do's:

  1. Always deal with SEBI registered Research Analyst.
  2. Ensure that the Research Analyst has a valid registration certificate.
  3. Check for SEBI registration number.
  4. Please refer to the list of all SEBI registered Research Analysts which is available on SEBI website in the following link: (https://www.sebi.gov.in/sebiweb/other/OtherAction.do?doRecognisedFpi=yes&intmId=14)
  5. Always pay attention towards disclosures made in the research reports before investing.
  6. Pay your Research Analyst through banking channels only and maintain duly signed receipts mentioning the details of your payments.
  7. Before buying securities or applying in public offer, check for the research recommendation provided by your research Analyst.
  8. Ask all relevant questions and clear your doubts with your Research Analyst before acting on the recommendation.
  9. Inform SEBI about Research Analyst offering assured or guaranteed returns.

don’ts:

  1. Do not provide funds for investment to the Research Analyst.
  2. Don’t fall prey to luring advertisements or market rumours.
  3. Do not get attracted to limited period discount or other incentive, gifts, etc. offered by Research Analyst.
  4. Do not share login credentials and password of your trading and demat accounts with the Research Analyst.
